This is some misc stuff about me. I’ll fill it in when I think of stuff. Q/A format for now.
What kind of equipment are you using?
I’m shooting on various hardware; on the DSLR front, I’m running Canon 30D and 20D with an fair assortment of glass. On the point and shoot front, I’ve been through a Sony DSC-P3, DSC-U20, and DSC-F505V. They are all broken now. Then I moved on to a Canon S410, which is also broken as a result of Camera Toss. I currently have a Panasonic DMC-TZ4 and Olympus 1030SW which serve me well.
Whats with the floppy hat?
My hairline reveals a sensitive skull. The floppy hat saves me the trouble of sunburned bolo-head.
Whats that weird camera strap you have?
My second camera rig is a single point rifle strap originally designed for CQB. Its made by tacticaltailor.com. The hard point on the camera is a custom right angle nubbin screwed into the tripod mount of the body, this means the camera sits upsidedown when slung; but it sits at the right level for me to grab quickly when that lens arrangement becomes neccessary.
